- The promoter is the MusicNT, (ABN 34 792 015 203) Level 2, 8 McMinn Street, Darwin NT 0801.
- The promotion starts 12:00pm (ACST) Friday 17 May, 2024. (‘Promotion Start’).
- The promotion ends at 5:00pm (ACST) Wednesday 21 June, 2024 ('Promotion End').
- Entry is open only to Northern Territory residents who register a vote prior to the Promotion End ('Eligible Entrants') excluding: (a) Board of management, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter. Must be able to show upon request, proof of residency e.g. Drivers License.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected votes. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process.
- Voting is restricted to one vote per person. If an individual is identified as lodging multiple votes all the votes of that individual will be ruled invalid.
- If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion
- If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
- The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and their respective officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or the promotion of this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- MusicNT will determine the winner based on the votes received.
- In the event of a tie in either category (Best Live and/or Portrait) in the number of votes; the 2024 People's Choice Northern Territory Music Award Hot Shot of the Year will be jointly awarded.
- MusicNT will oversee the voting process and the total number of votes received for any of the nominees or finalists will not be disclosed.
- The result of the poll to determine the 2024 People's Choice Hot Shot of the Year will be announced at the 2024 NT Music Awards, Thursday 27th June 2024.
- Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using and publishing and disclosing to its agents, contractors and entities associated with this promotion personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion.
